Everyone has experienced a moment of despair as they travel through the Lands Between. This is how the game plays. There is a way to view the map at any time, with all marked points that you may be interested in. Map Genie has created a map of Elden Ring for us all and we are here to show you how to use it.
Using Map Genie for Elden Ring
You might feel overwhelmed when you first load the Lands Between Map Genie webpage. The game's map is huge, but it is also very densely packed with items. This is evident when you consider the many options Map Genie offers to mark your map.
First, go to the left and click the Hide All button. This will completely clear the map, making navigation a lot easier. It can be difficult to move the map around with all of the markers activated at once.
Once the map is clear, scroll down to the Locations section. You will find several sections. Choose the markers that you wish to be identified on the map.
These sections are:
LocationsKey ItemsItemsEquipmentNPCsEnemies MaterialsOtherYou should activate the Site of Grace markers, regardless of where you are on your journey. This will let you know how far away you might be from the nearest Site of Grace. You should also make sure to turn on the Map Fragment markers, which are what makes your map look exactly like it does in Map Genie. A helpful marker is Dungeon, which is because there are plenty of useful equipment and other items that can be found in the Elden Ring dungeons.
After you've selected the map markers that you like, you can move your cursor back to the map to find where you are on Elden Ring map. This will allow you to sync with the Map Genie webpage. Simply click on the scroll wheel to zoom and then drag the map to where you want.
Once you have a good idea of where you are, you can use the map to locate what is around you. It is best to select only a few markers at a time while you move forward. This will give you a better idea of your surroundings and not make surveying the map more tedious than you would like.
